Evangel Women's Basketball Announces Transfer of Lexie Vaught

SPRINGFIELD – Evangel women's basketball head coach Megan Leuzinger announced the second transfer of the summer as Drury guard and former state champion at Crane High School, Lexie Vaught, will join the Crusaders in 2018-19.

Vaught played in every game for Drury during her first two seasons with the Panthers. She shot 40 percent from the field and nearly 80 percent from the free throw line during her two seasons at Drury. A four-time state champion at Crane High School, Vaught helped the Lady Pirates compile a record of 123-7 during four seasons while being named the MBCA Class 2 Player of the Year among numerous honors.

She will rejoin former high school teammates Kylee Moore, and Shelby Roder who finished a two-year career at North Arkansas Community College and announced her transfer last month.
