SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Head Coach Megan Leuzinger and the Evangel women's basketball team has added another commit for the 2019-20 season with Ayshia Bettlach becoming the second player from Blue Eye High School.
Bettlach enters her senior year at Blue Eye after being a two-time all-conference honorable mention selection as a sophomore and a junior. She helped Blue Eye win the Class 2 District 11 Championship after averaging 6.5 points per game and 3.0 steals per game.
She was also an academic all-state selection on the volleyball court and a standout in the classroom as a member of the National Honor Society.
She joins Taylor Arnold as the second commit from Blue Eye High School and is the sixth player committed to Evangel for the 2019-20 season.
