NEVADA, Mo. – Evangel closes out their nonconference slate with a win against Cottey College, 74-48, on Wednesday night. The 5-0 start is the best for the Crusaders since 1995.
Sydnee Garrett led the team with her first double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Mackenzie Farmer was also in double figures with 13 points.
The Crusaders defense held the Comets under nine points in two different quarters.
What's Next
Evangel opens their conference schedule on the road on Saturday, Nov. 17 against (RV) William Penn in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Tipoff is scheduled for noon.
