Official CoSIDA All-District Release
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Valor Baseball's Austin Dill has been voted First Team Academic All-District by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Dill was named to the first team in District Three thanks to his accomplishments in the classroom and on the field.
First-team Academic All-District honorees will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot to be voted on and announced in June.
The 2021-22 Academic All-District Baseball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Dill maintained a 3.75 GPA in the classroom while pursuing his masters in Organizational Leadership at Evangel. Dill threw 78 innings with a 3.58 ERA and claimed Evangel's single season strikeout record, finishing with 89 in his final year.
