DES MOINES, Iowa – Clark Brewington hit a three-pointer with three seconds left to send the game into overtime as the Evangel men's basketball team earned a 108-106 road win at Grand View on Saturday.

In overtime, Edriel Martinborough broke a 106-106 tie with four seconds left as he drove the lane and finished a lay-up to put the Crusaders up two. Josh Pritchett would block the Vikings' final attempt keeping Grand View from getting a shot off before the buzzer.

Brewington's bucket came after the Crusaders had missed two free throws with 11 seconds left. However, Evangel fouled the Vikings who also went 1 of 2 from the line to lead 91-88 before the three-pointer.

Martinborough led the way with a game-high 29 points and 10 rebounds while Cade Coffman also finished with 22 points and 10 boards to give the Crusaders two with a double-double.

Evangel struggled at the free-throw line going 13 of 26 but shot 56 percent from the field and tallied 21 assists as a team.

Pavel Antonov also finished in double figures with 13 points, while Ike Egwu and Nate Davis each added 10 points respectively.

Grand View was led by Drew Johnson who scored 24 points and Ryan Miller who added 23 points.
