MELBOURNE, Ark. – Paced by Reagan Streck's second-place finish, the Evangel men's golf club registered a strong performance at the Lyon College Fall Inivitational at Cooper's Hawk Golf Club.
Streck, who fired a two-under-par 70 Tuesday afternoon to card 72-70—142 for the two-day event, finished just two strokes behind tourney champ Nick Beausoleil of Lyon College. Cole Eagleburger finished 12 strokes off Streck's pace to finish 10th on the individual leaderboard.
Logan Smith (+15) delivered a final-round 77 Tuesday to place 22nd overall, while Jake Brown (+18) and Jaron Phipps (+26) finished 29th and 38th, respectively for the Valor, which finished third in the team standings.
