SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Led by Jake Brown's final-round 72 and four of the top 13 individual performances for the tournament, the Evangel men's golf club wrapped up the EU Fall Invitational team title Tuesday afternoon at Springfield Golf and Country Club.
Brown (-1), who beat the elements to post an opening round of 71 on Monday, was equally as impressive on day two, firing the second-best round of the afternoon to secure the individual crown. The senior from Tulsa, Okla., edged Lyon College's Nick Beausoleil—who carded Tuesday's low round of 70—for the top spot on the tournament leaderboard.
Reagan Streck (73-76--149) also registered a top-five finish for the Valor, while Logan Smith (83-73--156) and Jaron Phipps (80-76--156) tied for the No. 13 spot on the leaderboard.
