RAYMORE, Mo. – Valor Men's Golf took part in the Heart of America Conference Tournament on Monday and Tuesday (Apr. 25/26) at the Creekmoor Golf Club. Each team played 36 holes on Monday, followed by 18 holes on the final day of the meet. The Men played exceptional golf on the final day, climbing the leaderboard and finishing in fifth place.
Jake Brown recorded the lowest score in the tournament on Tuesday, finishing his final round with a 66 (-6), placing him tied for fourth in the field of 55 players. For Brown's strong overall play, he was named as an All-Conference player. Reagan Streck improved his play throughout each round, finishing with his low score of 74 in the final round. Streck finished in 22nd place and was named as an All-Conference player, thanks to his strong play.
Jaron Phipps played consistently throughout the two days, finishing tied for 23rd with a score of 232. Taton Hopkins finished just one stroke behind Phipps, finishing tied for 26th. Logan Smith rounded out scoring for the team, finishing tied for 31st with a score of 236.
