SALINA, Kan. – Evangel Men's Golf kicked off their fall season by taking part in the Central Plains Invitational in Salina, Kansas. The invitational, hosted by Kansas Wesleyan, consisted of three rounds of play for the men, as Evangel was led by senior Reagan Streck, who finished tied for sixth overall in a very competitive field.
Streck used a round two low of 68 (-2) to help push himself to an overall score of 210 and sixth place finish. Taton Hopkins used a consistent two days at the course to follow Streck with a tied for 26th place finish, scoring a 219. Dylan Sitze rebounded in rounds two and three to catapult to a tied for 36th place finish, using an 11 stroke improvement from round one to round three.
Brock Wunstell finished his afternoon with a 241 overall score, finishing tied for 51st, and Thomas Bolin rounded out scoring for the Valor with a 243, placing 53rd.
