MORAVIA, Iowa – After claiming a third place overall finish at the Evangel Fremont Challenge, the Valor Men's Golf team took part in the Midwest Intercollegiate Invitational at the Preserve at Rathbun Lake. The event served as a preview for Heart play in the spring season and Evangel's Men finished tied for ninth with Taton Hopkins leading the way with an overall score of 149, good for tied for 12th overall.
Hopkins was followed closely by Reagan Streck who finished tied for 38th with a +12 score after a consistent two days. Thomas Bolin tied for 51st with an overall score of 159 (+15).
Evangel was rounded out with scores from Dylan Sitze and Kelby Day, who finished just one stroke apart. Sitze placed tied for 61st while Day finished in 63rd with a seven stroke improvement from day one.
