DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Evangel women's basketball was unable to find enough offense Saturday afternoon, falling 95-71, in the regular season finale at Clarke University.

The Crusaders finish the regular season, 5-22 overall and 4-14 in the Heart South Division and will play at Grand View Tuesday night in the first round of the Heart Postseason Tournament.

The Crusaders trailed 44-29 at halftime after shooting 36 percent from the field while the Pride shot 54 percent in the half. Clarke led for 38 minutes throughout the game as both teams record more than 20 turnovers each.

Evangel was led by Mackenzie Farmer who finished with 21 points. Sydnee Garrett added 18 points and four rebounds in the loss.

Morgan Pitz scored 20 points to lead Clarke as Makenna Haase and Kea Whittington added 15 points each.
