SERIES HISTORY
EU leads its all-time series with Park by an 11-2 margin. The Crusaders have won the last six meetings in the series dating back to the Pirates' 89-70 win on Jan. 31, 1987.
OPENING STORYLINES
► Third-year head coach Megan Leuzinger enters the week with a career mark of 44-27 after guiding EU to its first NAIA National Tournament berth since 2011 last season.
► Junior Brianna Vogts leads the Heart Conference in rebounding (9.8 rpg) and ranks sixth in scoring (14.8 ppg); she needs to score 19 more points to reach the 800-point plateau for her EU career.
► Vogts ranks 17th in the nation in offensive rebounds per game (4.4) and 29th nationally in total rebounds per game (9.8).
► Over the course of its six-game win streak in the series, Evangel has outscored Park by an average of 21.2 points per contest; EU has limited the Pirates to just 54.0 points per game while scoring at a 75.2 ppg clip.
► Bayley Harman pulled down a career-best 13 rebounds last Wednesday at MNU and tallied a season-high 20 points in EU's loss at Mount Mercy on Saturday; Harman averaged 19.5 points and 10.0 rebounds in the Crusaders' two games last week.
► Zoey Mullings ranks sixth in the Heart Conference in steals per game (2.2), while Harman ranks ninth (1.9).
► Despite dropping their last two games at the Ashcroft Center in December, the Crusaders have gone 25-10 at home during Leuzinger's tenure as head coach.
► All Evangel home games in 2020-21 will be streamed live on the Evangel Sports Network in conjunction with the Heart Network. Fans can download the Heart Conference Network App for AppleTV, Amazon, or Roku and watch Evangel games on their smart TV or streaming devices.
