KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the first time in program history, a quartet of Evangel women's soccer players were awarded all-conference honors as released by the Heart of America Athletics Conference on Tuesday morning.
Bailey Biffert, a sophomore from Lakeville, Minn., anchored the defense for the Crusaders that had six shutouts during the season. She also had one assist.
Bianca Biffert paced the Crusaders offense with 17 goals on the season, which is good for fourth-best in the conference, and five assists. She also finished with 98 shots, which is good for best in the conference. After this season, the sophomore now holds the career records for points, goals, and shots. Biffert also holds the records for the most points, goals, and shots in a season. Finally, she holds the record for the most goals in a game and shots in a game.
A former standout at Kickapoo High School, Reinold earned her third all-conference honor for the Crusaders after finishing with five goals and four assists on the season. Reinold finished with 14 points and tallied 43 shots on goal, as the junior now holds the career record for assists.
Ellis, a senior from Gentry, Ark., had six goals and three assists for the Crusaders. She finished with 15 points and 28 shots.
