Evangel Women's Soccer Adds Las Vegas Standout to 2020 Class

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Evangel women's soccer announces the signing of Las Vegas forward Samantha Elliott to its 2020 signing class. 

Elliott was a four-year varsity starter at Southeast Career Technical Academy where she scored 32 goals and had 24 assists. In her senior year, she had 24 goals and 11 assists. She earned 1st Team Desert Region Honors and was a team captain in her junior and senior years. Elliott was also named a scholar-athlete her sophomore, junior, and senior years. 

Outside of prep soccer, Elliott also competed with club soccer team Heat FC, and in 2017 she was a member of the Olympic Development team. 

"Samantha is a very technical player with great field vision and the ability to control the flow of the game.  We are excited to have her coming to be a part of our Evangel Women's Soccer family and sharing the journey with us starting next fall!!"  

Once on campus, she plans to major in Biology with a Pre-Med emphasis. 

The Crusaders are coming off a history-making campaign that saw them receiving votes in the final poll and finishing fourth in the Heart of America after being predicted to finish last.
