Evangel Women's Soccer Signs Indiana Forward to 2020 Class

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Head Women's soccer coach Bruce Deaton announces the signing of Indiana forward to his 2020 class.

Madison Maher was a four-year varsity starter at Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Indiana.  In her career, she has scored 36 goals and had 23 assists.  She received 1st team All Sagamore conference honors as a freshman and senior, 2nd team All Sagamore Conference as a junior.  Madison was named team captain in her junior and senior years.  As a senior Madison received the Most Valuable Player/Golden Ball Award.

Madison plays club soccer with Indiana Fire Junior outside of the high school season.  Madison also enjoys working with our community by acting as a coach for the local youth soccer league.

"Madison is a very technically sound player who will fit in well with our attacking style of play.  She reads and understands the game quite well and that will help us to continue to build upon the success we had this past season.  Looking forward to sharing this journey with her," says Deaton about his latest signing.

Madison intends to study forensic science/biology with plans to become a Forensic Pathologist.
